Job Description:
Processes mortgage applications, responds to customer mortgage loan inquiries, and works closely with borrowers, realtors, and loan officers to process and close mortgage loans.
Primary Responsibilities/Duties:
- Process mortgage applications
- Handle customer mortgage loan inquiries
- Communication and contact with borrowers and realtors to facilitate processing, funding, and closing of mortgage loan transactions
- Any other duties as assigned by Mortgage Department Supervisor or Vice President
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Excellent oral and written and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, patience, and characteristics necessary to effectively
communicate with borrowers and realtors on the phone or in person and to service customer needs
in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Must be comfortable with financial numbers, calculations and computer systems.
- Must be well-organized, attentive to details, and goal-oriented.
- Mortgage or real estate background preferred, but will train. Customer service experience helpful.
- Ability to exercise confidentiality and good judgment.
