May 1, 2007 - West Bank Announces Open House at South Branch

West Des Moines, IA – The South Des Moines branch of West Bank on the corner of SW 9th and Watrous Street has recently undergone a renovation. They will celebrate with an Open House on Tuesday, May 22 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A ribbon-cutting sponsored by the South Des Moines Chamber of Commerce will take place at 10:00 a.m. Refreshments will be served and you can register to win a $50 gift certificate to Tumea’s Italian Restaurant, a $50 gift certificate to Robin’s Wood Oven Grill, or West Bank merchandise.

The project involved the purchase and demolition of the property to the north of the branch to make way for expanding the drive-thru lanes and creating six additional parking spaces. The interior of the branch was also refreshed with new carpet, paint, and chairs.

“The sole purpose for the interior and exterior enhancements was to achieve an even greater level of customer convenience and satisfaction than previously experienced,” said Craig Krouch, Vice President and manager of the south branch.
