Email Scam

Several customers have reported receiving email recently from West of the Bank, Bank of the West or West Credit Cards asking for verification of ATM/Debit Card/Credit Card information necessitated by security system improvements.
When directions are followed, you are taken to a spoof of the real Bank of the West log-in page. At the spoof log-in, any user name and password will be accepted to direct you to a page requesting personal information about you and your account. This is a “phishing” scam.
West Bank has no connection to these or similar email requests.
West Bank will not ask you to verify any information by use of email.
Do not respond to these or similar requests.
